Technically the plants have resin glands from start to finish. They become more noticable the further you get into flowering, but can be seen from the 1st week if you look close enough. Note also that potency isn't completely reliant on the amount of resin. I agree with you on this. The Bubbleberry I've been growing looks is still premature, but looked like it still had less resin than it should at this time. However, I cut off a couple popcorn buds, dried and cured them for a week, and they were fantastic. i now remember why I liked the bubbleberry so much. I also have a couple GDP nugs that I am waiting a few more days to try. They look and smell delicious, yet again there is not as much resin as i would have thought. Oh well, all I care about is the potency. It could look like shit as long as it was tasty and potent.
