The collective is a not for profit business. The $50/ eighth is the "suggested donation" to "cover their costs". I have a friend who grows outdoors and will hook up anyone that has a card. $100 ounces all day long. Good bud too. It's just something that has to be done in each area because it would be very hard to pay the license fees, rent, electric, etc and still keep prices low.
budlover13 Reviewed by budlover13 on . confused can someone please tell me the difference between a co-op and a dispensary? also its my understanding that either one is supposed to be a nonprofit org. if so how can they justify the prices they charge? i mean, my god its cheaper on the street. im lucky i can grow my own, but what about someone on a fixed income that really needs medication? i guess they are SOL. there should be a way that someone with extra can hook up with the needy. LET US NOT FORGET THAT ITS A FREAKIN WEED!!! Rating: 5
