can someone please tell me the difference between a co-op and a dispensary? also its my understanding that either one is supposed to be a nonprofit org. if so how can they justify the prices they charge? i mean, my god its cheaper on the street. im lucky i can grow my own, but what about someone on a fixed income that really needs medication? i guess they are SOL. there should be a way that someone with extra can hook up with the needy. LET US NOT FORGET THAT ITS A FREAKIN WEED!!!

I dont understand the price either. That was a great idea to hook up with the needy...but how? Maybe if California legalizes it in Nov it won't be so difficult or scarey to try and offer it to those who can't grow their own....then hopefully other states will follow.

The collective is a not for profit business. The $50/ eighth is the "suggested donation" to "cover their costs". I have a friend who grows outdoors and will hook up anyone that has a card. $100 ounces all day long. Good bud too. It's just something that has to be done in each area because it would be very hard to pay the license fees, rent, electric, etc and still keep prices low.

Live in Oklahoma then complain about the price... At leaste you can medicate yourself. After court cost and lawyer payments I spent about 30grand what is cheaper do you think I could of bought 600 8th for what I have to go threw, luckily I am rich though my past life of dealing and that was a easy payoff but still I could only dream to wake up to a blunt now days
