Hello folks, i have a dilemna.

after jumping through all the hoops and going to great expense i have finally recieved my mmj card and can now legally improve my quality of life without fear of persecution.

the problem i have is as follows, my state while granting mmj cards is still extremely conservative and there just isn't anywhere to get your medication, at least not near me so i either need access to a dispensary or will have to grow my own (up to 3 mature plants and 4 mothers here)

being only an hour or so away from california and being unable to utilize the dispensary services there is needless to say extremely frustrating, i need a CA mmj card in addition to my NV mmj card to do this correctly as this will allow me to buy medication directly from the dispensaries but also acquire quality and verified clones for my own legal growing at home instead of some kind of mysterious bagseed.


can someone experienced in this matter do me a solid and walk me through the steps i need to take to reach this goal?

i have done research but am still confused.....



issue #1>

i understand that i will need a CA drivers license or ID card in order to see the CA doctor and get the reccomendation.

i am aware of the fact that i need to be a legal resident of CA and reside there complete with a street address for the drivers license (and you arent supposed to have more than one DL anyway) but do i need to technically be a CA resident in order to acquire the state ID card? i am not seeing this listed as a requirement on the california DMV site.

as an aside the DMV website quotes up to a 60 day wait whereupon your identification will be mailed to you, lol i am used to it simply being printed out right there in front of you at the office. does it really take 60 days to get your ID or is that just an exaggerated timeframe for ass covering purposes?

assuming i am able to get through step one of establishing the proper california identification.......



issue #2>

what is a reputable and simultaneously easy to work with doctor? my condition that qualified me here is severe astygmatism (were talking fishbowl glasses) which causes a constant groggy headed nauseous hangover type feeling when not wearing classes and intense migraines when wearing them, a small amount of a lower potency sativa strain usually completely eliminates this for me.

will this be enough to get a recommendation in california? i should be able to dig out my omptometrist records, a good doctor reccomendation would help out significantly as i am not in the mood to deal with the stinkeye or an otherwise dubious look about my condition because it is not something more debilitating and widely accepted.


lets say i was able to get my CA recommendation.......




issue #3>

i understand that a reccomendation is supposed to be all you need in order to visit a dispensary, however i am hearing conflicting reports. some folks are saying that most dispensaries will not serve you with only a recommendation and that you need to also get a county mmj card?

also am hearing that law enforcement tends to hassle folks with only a recommendation and that a county issued card prevents this?

so, is this true? and if so what is the process for obtaining the county mmj card?




anyhow thanks a lot for any help, seems as though i have overcome the first hurdle with my own state but now in order to make use of it have to do it all over again for another. there really should be cross state reciprocity =/
