If I may be so bold as to sum up the most important basic info:

#1: get a PH test kit. Should cost you no more than 4-5 pounds, or around 12 bux here in north america. PH going in to soil should be 5.9-6.5, for hydro, 5.5 to 5.9.

#2: give it as much light as you can. Flouro is ok, but you want to get 10,000 lumens per square foot, if you can.

#3: temperature; 78f / 26c is perfect; +5 or -5 off this is ok, but you need massive air circulation to compensate.

Watering should be whenever the plant dries almost completely out; then a full soak with some runoff. Nutrient feeding should be every second watering.
