You ignored every point I made except for my praise of Finland, which is a truly lovely country I've spent significant time in, my girlfriend's family being from there. For every prime minister with money to spare who wants to bypass a waiting list, there's a thousand in America with an illness and no money, wishing they were in Canada where it won't cost them their house.

Socialism is of course flawed like every product of the human mind, but it's certainly a step up. I've never understood how Americans can have about the shittiest wages, the longest working hours,the least benefits and the largest gap between rich and poor in the industrialized world and say they are the freest and most prosperous people, and that their way must be the best. If they had a little humility they might see fit to learn from other nations.
