What can you tell me about roswell new mexico? I know nothing about it other than rent looks cheap on cragslist

Roswell is a city of 50,000 people. Jobs are hard to find these days. Most people are friendly, however there is some gang activity going back 4 generations. I lived there about a month, and could not find work so I moved to the east. The city is strange in regards to $300,000 homes next to run down homes. There is a Homedepo, walgreens, Tractor supply, Walmart, Sams Club, the usual shopping as with most cities. Traffic is a bit heavy, with lots of old people driving, so keep an eye out for them.

I want to grow, and consume my own meds..I am not into purchasing from clubs or interested in supplying them... Not trying to be greedy I am simply a shut in. Anyway I have been planning a relocation to colorado, but a news clip about NM's higher plant counts caught my eye. Can anyone recommend new mexico for my purpouse?
