Male Plant

Help, I recieved 2 free plants and when they got to the flowering stage one is female and one is male. This is my first time growing so I didn't know much about them when I got them. Is the male useless? Should I just toss it and concentrate on the girl? She's budding up and I got her on a 12/12 light cycle.

Im new to this too but one thing has been made crystal clear to me.

Get rid of the male asap. If he releases his pollen the female will start to produce seeds and you dont want that do ya?

Be gentle with him when removing him cause you dont want to accidently open any pollen pods he might have. If you wanna be extra careful cover him with a trash bag before disturbing or moving him.

Other than that the two most useful things Ive read to do with a male is use the trunk as a back scratcher or to flog random people with. Useless unless its an awesome strain and you want some seeds, even then get him as far away from the female as possible, a diff grow local would be best.
