Is bigger better?

I haven't been smoking for all that long, so I was curious if bigger is always better, as far as bongs go. I picked one up about 2ft, and it hits great, except that its so big it's impossible to clear the whole chamber if I fill it. Is it better to stick with a smaller one that you can clear, so that you'd get a harder hit?

Having a 2 footer is a great thing, I used to have a Weed Star Puncher that was that size, but as you mentioned, it can have some draw backs....One being the hit capacity, if you milk it completely its a lot more smoke to clear than a one footer. Also, another big factor id mention is the ease of cleaning...unless you got a huge ass sink, your probably gonna have to clean it in the bathtub or something.
Every bong serves its purpose, and id say if your looking for something more easily manageable, going somewhere in the 12-15 inch range might suit you better.
Also, you can just use different techniques to smoke. Try experimenting with different lighting techs., not filling up the tube all the way, packing bigger bowl, or smaller ones. But id say that bigger isnt always better, the 6ft Roor Excaliber bong is badass, but i would not even want that piece cause its just impratical for me cause of its size. Totally depends on personal taste....

Ive owned alot of different bongs in my day and my favorite is around 14 inch size. Its not real heavy feeling when your totally baked and its easy to clear and hits great.Just gotta decide what you want in your piece and look at a bunch in person so you can see how it feels.:jointsmile:

Thanks for the replies guys, everything you mentioned was pretty much my thought. I'm going to try and pickup like a 12 and see how it works out. I'm just going to sell it, its a nice piece, thick glass and heavy as hell, I named it Mjollnir after Thors Hammer HAHA
