Typical 'Will I pass' Question

I have a hugely important job interview set up for sometime next week...most likely later in the week. I smoked like a moron starting from last fri to tues (probably approx. .5g) Before that I hadn't smoked for a month and a half. Prior to that I smoked about an 1/8th in a month and prior to that I was a daily smoker. I'm 6'1, 175lbs, and consider myself to be in good shape. I would say my metabolism is fast but not crazy fast like super skinny people. I'm eating really clean, exercising, and drinking a shit load of liquids. I'm going to test myself a couple days prior but I just wanted to get some opinions if there's a good chance I will fail

You should test yourself sooner than later so you will know where you stand. There are too many variables for anyone here to definitely say you will pass or fail.
I took a home test on the 26th after 18 days clean and produced a very faint line in the test area. I know that a line is a line and if it's there I'm below the cutoff, but the line was VERY faint. This morning I took another test with my first void and the line appeared darker than it did three days ago, which makes me feel a whole lot better. I'm in the process of doing a semi dilution now and will take another test around 11:00 this morning just for my own piece of mind. My "real" test is tomorrow at a Concentra lab nearby.
If it makes you feel better, I was a daily smoker for many years up until the last three weeks. I didn't smoke large amounts, but still, it was every day.
oh...I'm 6'5" and 225 lbs.
Without knowing anything about your interview... I would guess they will have interviews, select a candidate and then notify you if you've been selected. That should take a couple weeks. If you have to give notice at your current job, that will be another couple weeks. As stated above, test yourself now so you know where you are at. If you wait until a couple days before the "real" test, and find out your dirty, you will have very little time to look into other options.

For anyone following this thread, I just took my second home test utilizing dilution (@ 10:30 EST). I drank my normal 3-4, 8 oz cups of coffee plus extra water as outlined in the dilution sticky. Tomorrow for the real deal I'll sub Gatorade for the water, and load up on my B Complex. I also plan on popping some Tums as well. As an aside, I've been loading Creatine Monohydrate at 20 grams per day for that last couple days.
The test line was a little darker that it was this morning (using my first void). Of interesting note, the control line was a little lighter than it was this morning. Not sure why, but could be due to the dilution. The lighter control line actually made both lines look closer in darkness, so I feel pretty good about that.
I now feel confident that I will test negative for THC tomorrow at the lab.
This has been pretty nerve racking as this is my first time being subjected to a U/A, and I still won't feel totally at ease until I know for sure that everything is cool. Just hoping I don't get any "calls" for the rest of the week!
Thanks to all the knowlegdeable folks who make this site possible. I would surely be at my wits end going into the U/A cold with no information.

Thanks for the response man. Let us know how it goes with your test...I think I'm going to try a similar dilution method if I have a faint line on my home DT

Concentra had me take the pee test first (before the physical) this morning, which was good because after filling out forms and waiting about 45 minutes, I had to pee like a race horse. I basically followed the trial run I did yesterday subbing Gatorade for the water. I didn't want to overdo it as I was testing negative (with a faintish line) on my first void with the home test. I guess I'm just paranoid about this stuff. The Concentra website states that they send out every sample to thier lab in Memphis, so I'm going to be stressing for the next few days.
Remember, when you test at home use your first void of the day. That is the "worst case scenerio", when your pee is at its dirtiest.

Well...I thought I was home free, but my test came back as a negative dilute.
I have to go back in and give another specimen tomorrow morning. Thing is, I screwed myself by smoking a few bat loads yesterday.
I'm going to try and sub using my wife's clean urine.
Does anyone thnk the lab will observe me since I'm on my second try??
Any helpful comments are appreciated.

Well...I am awaiting the bad news. When I went in to give my second specimen I was observed. I had my sub all set...heated good, crotched and ready to go but I didn't get a chance to utilize it. A note to anyone following this thread. If you are tested at Concentra and have to go in a second time because of a negative-dilute you will be observed. I did utilize the dilution sticky to a Tee, and no coffee, but deep down I don't think it will matter. I messed up big time by not waiting until my foot was in the door (to smoke) and that lack of dicipline will most likely cost me dearly.
Not trying to piss & moan here. I just wanted to post back my experience for those that may have a similar situation.
I am expecting to hear from the MRE, but I'm not so sure I will. The bummer is that I may have to go into my "new job" on Tuesday like there's nothing wrong and be told to my face to leave. Guess stuff like that builds character.
Anyhow...hoping for a little divine intervention here.

Wow, sorry and hope it works out for you. Ive been clean 14 days and barely passing home tests with minor diluting, but have another week till the real thing. Im worried about the dilution thing that got you, but I havent been drinking as much as you stated you were before the tests, so Im hoping I dont get the same results you did. I know I wont smoke the night of the test, just in case I get a negative dilute. Good luck.
