I do not know requirments for a mmj card but I do know this-I have TMJ issues had a condylodomy in 1986- a surgery no longer performed due to future complications- TMJ can be totally dehabilitating- have spent days in bed due to pain- no physical therapy can help - as a matter of fact - 2 other patients of my TMJ doc committed suicide due to extreme pain-if you can not get a MMJ card for TMJ I would be very surprised and dissapointed
littlemountain Reviewed by littlemountain on . HELP ME! Intractable Pain I'm very curious, about 2 years ago i was involved in a hit and run accident. In the event of this accident i suffered from a TMJ injury which is in your jaw. It is a muscle injury that never gets better, they try to medicate it with 800mg IBUPROFIN but it never works for me. It VERY often flares up as it has cause grinding and other symptoms. The doctors have all diagnosed me and pretty much said there's nothing they can do, it is a life long injury. would this injury be considered intractable Rating: 5
