I sent in my application in October of last year and finally got my card in April. But it was dated in October!! All the new cards are getting lucky with the dates it sounds like, but it was not always that way

How strange, my husband sent his application in Sept 09 and recieved his card in Dec 09. It was dated December 22. I sent my information in November, recieved on April 25 and my card is dated April 23. I have never seen a card back dated to the orginal application date. It is not new card holders, to the best of my knowledge they have always placed the issued date on the card giving patients the "bonus" of having the process time not counting against your yearly renewal.
