    $20 a gram,.......

I think it's important to note where the meds are coming from at $20 per gram.

From a private caregiver with no overhead, employees, rent or other related costs, $20 is totally unreasonable.

However, an MMC absolutely has the right to charge $20 for a gram, for the reasons specified.

    Or something.

Yes, I consider $275 from a caregiver to be insane. Again, I guess I haven't seen any quality caregivers. I have never seen caregiver medicine that is better quality than the top 1% that some MMC's have. I will be happy to eat my words and find a caregiver who can actually provide MMC quality. I'll happily pay $275 for that ounce.

It's just difficult for people like me to hook up with quality caregivers. Right now, my only option for top1% meds is an MMC. The caregivers I use are either out of medicine, don't have top quality, or whatever. Do you have a solution?

Most of my personal experience with caregivers comes from craigslist and my own personal experiences. I don't have much personal experience with home growers/caregivers, and everything I see on craigslist is crap.

Feel free to consider me willfully ignorant.

Did you ever think that maybe those guys are on CL because they cant get rid of their stuff anywhere else?

Explain to me how a private caregiver has more overhead than an MMC. Or, feel free to educate me with a response.

Gosh, this explains a lot to me. Thanks!

That's how those buds are miraculously showing up in my jars at no cost to me whatsoever.

I'll have to thank the bud fairy tonight!

I'm sure that's the reason after 1284/109. Business is good for me since I'm buying up used hydro equipment. There are some fucking awesome deals to be made from people who are scared to grow. It's going to suck for hydro shops, but it's great for patients like myself, who are just looking to grow some fire for myself.

Do you have any advice on how a patient like myself could get in touch with a quality caregiver? I don't want a reference, I'm more looking for general advice for the average patient, who doesn't have access to quality caregivers.

I didnt say caregivers have more overhead, I was responding to your 'caregivers have no overhead' statement. See the difference?

At this point the only way one is going to find a good caregiver is through word of mouth, but anyone who is decent is going to not have any spots open. There are a lot of caregivers out there and a few are still offering freebies, I would avoid those.

It just seemed like you were trolling, since it's apparent to me at least, that you totally understood what I meant. It shouldn't be difficult to see that anyone can charge those prices, but MMC's are justified while caregivers are not. In my opinion.

This is what I am seeing. As a newish legal patient, I haven't seen any quality caregivers yet, but they're a hard bunch to come by. I've found a few people with experience via craigslist, but those are few and far between, even once you weed out the scammers.
