I agree though the law takes a twist once you are charged and you are no longer 'innocent until proven guilty' as the burden then lies upon you to prove your innocence? Backwards IMO.

Yes that is all true, the problem is that cops hate coming across grows and not be able to do anything so they will find any way they can to fuck with you. Whether that mean going through your trash looking for dead plants, weighing your trim, qualifying fresh cuttings as plants, whatever they can do they will do. The last 3 busts I read about all were growers with licenses but according to the cops they all were over their count. One I know was within their numbers if you went by the higher rec but no mention of that ever and I suspect that was the case with the others.
