Hey, how in the world do you get your camera to take really close pictures? I have a really good 5 megapixel camera that always looks very sharp except when I try to take a close up picture. I have this button with a flower on it for close up shots but they always end up looking blurry....I'm gonna have to experiment. If i get a good shot i'll post some pics.

Hey, how in the world do you get your camera to take really close pictures?

Some cameras are better with closeup photography than others. The flower icon does, as you surmise, indicate the macro mode but you may need to fiddle with shutter speeds, aperture settings and other parameters to get acceptable results. If your camera can accept lens-mount filters, you might try a macro lens. These are convergent lenses with diopter numbers from +0.5 to +5, with 2 being a rather common figure. They allow your camera to focus more towards the center of its focal range, while photographing objects close up.
