HMO's plans to deny pain meds for MM use
Some hmo's are having the pharmacy do the call on when urine tests are done. I plan to clean up and try and have doc give me urine test and maybe if they see a test has been done withen six months they wont bother. I dont know the name but there is one masking agent that is supposed to remove just plant based toxin. But you know if they dont find the proper amount of prescribed drug then they will also cut you off. My doctor doesnt recommend marijuana but he also didnt have much of a choice when they make it policy. I will be attending the Normal national conference in a couple of weeks and will be bringing up this point. I find it a horrible injustice that in my state we have a right to die law but cant get good relief for pain I guess HMO figures less chronic pain patients means they save money. I really dont have a problem being tested to see if the right amount of prescription drugs are in my system but dening me thous meds because I am also using MM to fight pain seems to mean I dont need prescription meds. Who in their right mind would want to take more opiates instead of MM. But then again they have denied MM for so long for suffering people its clear they dont consider it thier problem
