The say we are violating the federal pain contracts, we all have to sign to receive opiates to control pain. They will do this with random drug testing. All states even if there are MM laws protecting these patients. The portion of the contract that says no ??street drugs? is the one they say we are violating. In reality it is there response to the amount of abuse and deaths that have been attributed to opiates. Once again marijuana has been made to be the villain in this problem. Because if you use MM you must also be selling your prescription meds. They won??t be testing for alcohol even though many deaths have occurred from even small amounts of opiates and alcohol. Considering that murder, rape or even child molestation would result in no change in your meds. The high crime of smoking marijuana will be were they will draw the line. The exact people who are in the worst situations will be the ones denied access. Completely ignoring the wishes of the people in states with MM laws. My injury is the loss of three vertebra in a motorcycle accident my pain meds and MM are the difference between walking or being bed bound. It is the MM that allows me to not have to take as much opiates. They say the doctors are scared because the feds will come after there medical license. I am afraid that I will not walk again.
