    8-14-9 Okay for flowering?

My Father who is also my mentor in my first grow(http://boards.cannabis.com/indoor-gr...irst-post.html), just told me my best bet would be(For My Flowering) around a 5-14-9, So I don't think you are far off! I am sure there are more opinions, so compare and decide! I am interested in what you come up with, and the health of the plant when you finally find a ratio! I'll be watching this thread for advise as well! Thanks for posting question!

Other than a few leaves burned from the CFL being too close ( cord slipped down one night) they look fine to me. The buds dont look too leafy so far but ive read the leafyness will show more in the late stages of budding? I dont really have a choice for a couple more weeks on ferts. I will post pics soon of the buds. I am only in week two of flowering.

I don't think so! May turn fan leaves a darker green. Dark green leaves would be a good indicator that your nitrogen level is too high!

Ok thanks for the tip on leaf color. I always was under the assumption it was genetics that dictated color of leaves ( maby both do? ). I am new to this and welcome any corrections on what i may have read. There is so many opinions out there its hard to know whats right and whats wrong.

My leaves are light green on the two flowering strawberry coughs and the bubba kush is very dark. It makes sense cause i am giving the bubba kush a higher dose of nitrogen in veg state.

Here is a pic. Very blurry but best i can do with a phone camera. My 5 meg camera wont turn on. I havent used it in years.

As much as I can see in pic! The color looks fine! Everything looks good to me! I am not the man with all the answers, but with my trial and error, you look like your doing fine! Please keep posted, I am interested in progress!
