running out of time
They should be fine for about 2 months. That's enough time for 2 harvests. When an arm is ready, prune it off and you'll notice new growth within a week. The new growth will flower and provide a later harvest as well. Then before the first freeze arrives, cut them down and make hash etc. White widows are particularly good for double harvests. If you take off your top bud when ready, the rest of the plant goes flowering crazy for a few weeks. You'll notice the white pistils begin turning rose colored in about a month, that's when you're about ready. When they turn a deep red/light brownish, you're growing season is basically over in spite of the weather. It's all about the sun angle!.
