running out of time
I have 8 plants between 6 and 12 feet tall. They just started budding. I am on the east coast. Will there be enough time before the frost for them to finish budding, if not what should I do. They are white widow ,himalayan gold and super silver haze.

depends where on the east coast man. only thing you can do is let them go as long as possible. If they are 12 feet now, u should be producing TONS of bud fairly quickly. Let them go as long as you can, watch the weather channel and chop them right before the first frost. let them grow tho, trying to move inside, or shelter them wont help at all. Let em go, keep updated on the weather, and thats all u can do. good luck :rastasmoke:

Definitely keep an eye on the temps overnight. Even if it's supposed to be only in the low 40's. Get a thermometer or weather station with a temperature alarm so you can set it to go off when it gets too cold outside. I'm sure there are frost protection techniques that will work with mj, if it's not too bad of a frost and it won't freeze for more than a night or two.

i grew in ct for few yrs the frost has been coming later and later each year, and from my experiance the first few frost's are not bad and my uncle has had plants out till mid november with no problem, and just cover the plant if possible and put a barraier where the ground and stalk meet to keep it covered...
but in all honesty the real bad frost doesnt come till end of nevember -december.who knows it just might be fall weather untill january.. new england weather is just never the same at all..

I'm growing white widow in NY and they just started budding a week or two ago. You should be fine. They'll at least be far enough along to pick. GL.
