a little help needed !
i have an 8 foot tall g-13 marked quicksilver or something it was on the packet she has been growing outside through everything in the shed for a year this october but all the research i have done leads me to beleive that it will flower end of aug - oct whe it was young there was one definate male and one definate famale the male is upstairs in a room and is produ cing some sort of bud like appenditures at the top of it theylook like bud but could be seed i have seen a grow a mate did once and ive seen the difference but these two are a class all of there own! as i said she is 8 feet tall tree like at the base nealy an inch thick! white pissels flowing off alternating nodes everywhere! there is no doubt she will be amazing!!! but im a little worried as to the lack of bud!? not even a hint of it yet and outside in the uk is gonna be abnormally cold and kill here now i have heard of methods of flowering early i.e. poke a piece of wooden stick in the base to stress it but i dont want it going hermy on me!!/??/ you guys will know best so i leave it to the gods of grow and await a reply with eagerness! :rastasmoke:

a little help needed !
Im new to growing, but since no one else posted, I will try and help. I don't advice poking a stick through, but if there are bud sites growing, she is flowering, and the only thing you can do is wait. If you were trying to get it to go into flowering from vegetative, you would need to alter the amount of sunlight, but being outdoor that may be difficult. Try using some bloom boosting nutes. Fox Farm Tiger Bloom is what I was using, or else something with less nitrogen and more of the others. Boost the plants with nutes, but be sure not to overdue it, start with 1/3 or 1/2 the recomended doses, but get some quality nutes pumping through her and it will boost the buds ! Hope that helped, any more questions and I will try my best to answer them.

Some low-strength bloom nute will help, but what is most required here, is patience.
No worry, sounds like she's right on time.
N.E. U.S. outdoors, just started budding last week.

N.E weather sucks man but do as the the 1st guy posted with the nutes, look for some with an n.p.k of 0-10-10 or higher just cut out the nitrogen, your looking at a harvest at about halloween time or a bit later just chop her before frost comes, but since you have it in a shed type deal the frost may not be a probem, and if the frost is coming and there just not that ripe yet get a plug in heater and place it next to the plant,as to keep the frost from doing harm...you always have better odds if your plants can be sheltered like they are.the sun is in charge with budding but you have to make the choices to protect her..

Just to toss this option out, you could cover the plant with a black bag, but giving it plenty of air from underneath for 1 day of light. This will trick the plant into thinking the light cycle is getting shorter and will begin to bud.
