mold/mildew problem???
i have a problem ive been noticing a couple days after i water.
when the top of the soil starts to get a little dry, theres a thin layer of what looks like white powder.
i think it may be mold but im not 100%
i tried taking pictures but you cant really see it that well cuz the camera sux
the temps in my room stay around 84-86 and i know thats great temps for mold to grow.
is there anything i can do to stop this? if it isnt mold, what is it?
its only on the top of the soil and when i rub my finger across it it disappears.
ive been noticing that one of the tips of a leaf is dark green and crunchy.
no idea if this is related or if im just having really bad luck with my first grow...

mold/mildew problem???
what is the humidity? my guess is that its mall amounts of dried up salts from the nutes crusting on top, if it was mold i dont believe it would show up only after it got dry. this could be a sign of build up and you may need a flush, tho i am not the most experienced, i notice it on almost all my house plants after a certain while. hope that helped

mold/mildew problem???
One part Hydrogen Peroxide to three parts water. Wet plants down good with a spray bottle or sprayer. May take a couple of treatments. If you're indoor cover the tops of the growing medium with aluminum foil after treating and fixing.

mold/mildew problem???
you have the weed herpes bro
Powerdy Mildew... these are all bandaids at best you need a systemic herbicide like Eagle 20 EW
I used a mixture of Einstein oil (neem oil) and greencure in the same 32 oz spray bottle of water... held it off for about 10 days.
1 spore is all it takes and you got a problem...make sure you clean your walls floors ceilings ..everything in your grow area with a 1/4 cup bleach to 1 gallon water mix
They do have fungus bombs now too FUNGAFLOR TR....just like the bombs for mites...use the fungus bomb on your grow room....it will be like using a sulfur vaporizer without the smell
I would spray your plants top to bottom... you want 100% coverage on your plants.
I havent tried the bomb on plants yet.....so I wont recomend it for use on plants ..yet:hippy:

mold/mildew problem???
The soil nutritions is main concern, and your temp is also slightly more, maintain it to 60 to 70 degree Fahrenheit, i think the ph level of your soil is more it should be maintained, water the plant as the ur finger souled go in the soil to 2 inches.
