CLONE WARS!!!!!

I am going to take some cuttings tomorrow and have laid out a game plan to follow. If SOMEONE, ANYONE for that matter can make sure that my plan is not full of holes I would appreciate it. Flushed my girls yesterday with plain h2o and am going to mist the branches that I will use today. Got some dip-n-grow and clonex, 1" rockwool cubes(cut in half) tray with dome and a heat mat. Now any tips,tricks,pointers etc??? I know temp RH air moisture all play a huge part in this, but what is the most critical? What is the biggest negative factor? Diagonal cut or straight cut? dome or no dome? rooting hormone or nothing? Please Help!!!

Dont put the tray directly on the heat mat or you could fuck your clones up.
Unless its got some sort of heat controler function i had a gecko heat mat and belive me i only used it once.if your room is warm enough you wont need it just dont water them to much and keep the humidity high until they have rooted and you will be fine.
defo dome on try to keep the temps around 23-26.
cut the end of the leaves off to help stop transpiration.
The best rooting hormone i have found was 95p wilkos diagonal cut is best because you show more i think its called pithium its the bit inbetween the outer skin and the middle part of the branch were the root grow from.
ive never done clones with rockwool though just compost and coco!.

Go easy with the rooting hormone. Glopping or clumping it on hinders root development. I have never had one hormone work any better than any other, but whether using powder or gel, go easy with it.

The more clones you dip directly into the rooting hormone, the more contaminated it will become. I find it better to sprinkle the powder or 'paint' the gel onto the clone rather than dipping.

Raise the lights a bit. You want just enough light to keep 'em alive. Not too hot, not too cold.

Spray the dome, not the plants. The idea is to promte rooting, not foliar growth. (that'll come on it's own) Cut off leaftips only if necessary. The plant is using the nutrients from the green leaves to survive this ordeal. Don't go overboard with high humidity, either. Mold and damp-off are often fatal. Give fresh air a couple of times daily.

And one of the tips I don't hear mentioned much...when you cut the clone from the plant, place severed end directly into a cup of properly ph'd water. If an air bubble forms in the stem, it can inhibit moisture uptake. (like a blocked artery)
