GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -- The Grand Junction City Council voted unanimously after Wednesday night's medical marijuana public hearing to not put a question about dispensaries on the November ballot.

This move will allow the council to make a decision on possible regulations or even a ban of dispensaries within the city.

Over the past few weeks, council members have heard both sides of the debate. Many voiced opinions for and against the issue.

The city council will hold internal discussion about dispensaries during the next few weeks. They hope to have a final decision on the issue at the end of that time period.
