Wow, so this vote is really heating up. One vote for perpendicular and two for doesn't matter. I'm saving my vote 'til the last minute. It's getting very exciting!

Should the light be parallel to the tray, length wise? -OR- Should the light be perpendicular to the tray, across? Length wise, or parallel, seems like the immediate answer. With further thought, however, it seems the strongest light will come off the longest part of the bulb rather than the tips if it were parallel. Like Rating: 5
