How about a partial approach? For those big healthy leaves that are "just in the way" perhaps a pinch, bend and tuck would be much less stressful and still leave the leaf to do at least some of it's job.

BTW, Prodaytrader, you got a grow log on that? IMHO, even though you are in early flower a "super crop" technique may still pay off. Last time, at about your stage, had a few tall tops too. They got a pinch and a bend to make a kink like a garden hose. Don't touch for 3-4 days (don't keep bending and re-bending, just once) and if it stands up bend it again in another area after it heals some. Turns out those are the biggest thickest buds on the whole plant! Hey, maybe just give it a test on the biggest one or two. (this is where I should take some pix, prolly later)
