Energizer plants...growing and growing and growing

I started mt plants from seed about 15 weeks ago. Veg for 5 weeks (didnt mean to) and flowering for 10 weeks now. They are starting to grow buds where the fan leafs fell off now!! Every day there is progress but it has come to a slow pace. I am wondering if they will ever be done and I know that is a silly question but my real concern is that I DONT want to chop them down. We have bonded I swear! One of them has ben sence named bluntar because it is dinosaur sized mail cola...here is a pic of it smokeing a blunt. I told wou we have bond, we smoke together (which is herbivore cannibalism)!!

I know they are not OMG HUGE but keep in mind this is my FIRST grow and from bag seed with a limited budget

ANY WHO I have had a 100x close eye on the trich's and still only about 5% amber at the most!! I keep adding more lights but its just crappy CFL's.

    SO...

Do the trichomes mostly turn amber in the last week or so or is it a consistent gradual thing?

Can someone tell me that I HAVE to chop them down some time?

What is the longest anyone has flowerd?

Can I use molasses untill the end or should I flush and then stop?

Can I O.D. them on molasses? (I am not stupid)

OK those buds don't look anywhere near done IMO but from the pics I can't be 100% sure. Those white hairs don't appear so white when harvest time arrives. Those buds look like they are still growing. Amber trichs come on gradually, just pay attention.

You don't HAVE TO cut them down, but once the buds past their period of ripeness, they lose potency.

As for the molasses, be reasonable about it. Many people flush without it because of the trace minerals like sulfur.

Some Sativas can take 14+ weeks to flower. I can't really tell with your plant. Check your room for light leaks!!! This is a HUGE factor in flowering time. 12 hours of light and 12 hours of complete darkness.

Thnak you for the reply but its to late...10 weeks (74 days) of flower, 25% amber was enough for me!! I am HAPPY with what i got..next time ill do it the proper way. If there is one haha!!

(they look small in this pic...each main cola top bud is about the size of a 26 watt cfl, FAT buds)
