Going back to school. what to do.
well this year was my first time trying a grow and its going suprisingly well. i am down to a single lady but she is growing like a weed. as of right now she is outside in a 3 gallon pot. I'm up in chicago and the little white hairs popped up around the first of august.
As for my problem, i am leaving for school in a week and will be unable to get to her more then once a month. (school is far). My main concern about this is that she will only get water when it decides to rain. Wil she be ok like this? should i transplant her into the ground to get more water? what are your suggestions?
Also, i know that flowering time is strain dependent but if i first started seeing the white hairs around the first of august, when is a rough estimate of when to harvest. (i wont b able to check daily or even weekly so im just gunna pick a date and go for it.) i was thinking first week of october?xALLxDAYx Reviewed by xALLxDAYx on . i wud recommend the ground since mine have been in the ground even if it doesnt rain they can go longer without being watered do it as soon as u can before you go and heavily water the area around it if you live in a dry area, if you get rain once a week there is nuffin to worry about but, defo put her in the ground before you go i wud say, and as for wen to harvest thats a hard one if you knew if she was sativa/indica dominant it would be easier to put an estimate on the time of harvest if not come back at the end of the 8th week of flowering, if shes indica dominant the chances are she will be ready, if sativa then the chances are you will probz need an extra 2-4 weeks but then at least u will know when to come bak

yea man i got nuttin... im probably gunna come home on a friday, harvest and trim fri. night, and hang em right out in the sun all day sat at my grow spot. hopefully theyd b dry from 12 hours of direct sunlight? so basically if its not a really sunny day im screwed lol.
assuming they do get completely dry, the next step is to throw it in an airtight mason jar and let them cure for 10 days right? it seems logical to throw one of them moisture packets in ther that youd get from like a bag of beef jerkey. good idea? lol

dunno surely if you dired em outside they would get munched by shit, but i dont know anything about that if u can im doing it, well the longer they r in the jars the smoother the smoke will be, and the moisture packet will probably help prevent mold ifthere is moisture in there but i dunoo
