Replicating moonlight

I'm on my first grow ever and am doing it indoors. I am using fluoros despite all the bad press they get. I've smoked fluoro bud and it worked just fine.

Yup your right, you shouldn't worry about any bad press that cfl's get. As long as you use them in the right way, you can get great results.

My "newbie question" is has anyone ever seen anything or tried replicating moonlight? I know that indoors, your are trying to provide the perfect environment to keep the ladies happy and I would think that in nature they get moonlight, would it be to my advantage to try to replicate it or will the replicated moonlight cause my plants to go back into veg or hermie?

I havn't tried it, but from what I have read this is likely to cause your plants to hermie and is unlikely to provide you with any real benefit. Whilst replicating nature is in general a good idea, cannabis growers are trying to enhance nature.
