    Mini cannabis plant??

I saw a few videos on youtube that showed mini weed plants. whats the deal with these? do they grow quick or something. they looked awsome! do you have to buy the seeds for this strain or is there a way to make your plant do this?

    thanks

Read up on techniques like LST (Low Stress Training) , SOG, SCROG, Super-cropping , etc.

Not sure what you mean with "mini plants", but if you want them short yet still get some good yield that's the way to do it, will give you more horizontal / sideways growth than vertical / heightwise.

In other words, you'll get quite the bush.

    Mini cannabis plant??

I've seen a video or two, but they look like a branch cut-off from a lady in flower and stuck in the soil. I've never seen a real cannabis plant that small, other than an unrooted or freshly-rooted clone.
Years ago on another site, there was a competition to see who could grow a cannabis plant in a shotglass. Was funny watching them try, and a few even did the clone in a cup thing in an attempt to bullshit the membership, but cannabis won't grow like that. You'd have to remove, trim roots and foliage and replace...almost daily. The plant could never recover from the injuries, and will die.

    Mini cannabis plant??

I'm growin a couple "bonzai marijuanas" in half liter containers (split milk cartoons) and they are doing great. Just for the fun of it to see how they turn out, doing quite well. But my mega-modified plants in their 5l containers are the greatest bushiest things i've ever had. Used all of the above mentioned techniques on them and they are really getting tons of colas and bud sites and very fat and busy yet small in height, keep havint to supercrop some though to keep them not too tall but that's just a plus.

I know I've been called "The spelling/grammar police" although this time I have to help out. If you ever have a Japanese girl friend she'll rip you a new one for saying it wrong....

Banzai= Long life, or soldiers yelling "Long live and hail to the Emporer"

Bonsai= A small dwarfed plant by trimming and training.

Bonsai Tree Care - Learn How to Grow, Prune, and Care for Bonsai Trees
Bonsai is actually two words, "Bon", and "Sai". The word "Bon" means "tray" and "Sai", "growing" or "planting". Therefore, the two words put together give you the translation of "tray growing" or "tray planting". When you say the word, "Bonsai" to people, they usually think of a type of tree. However, this art form is actually a way of growing many different species of plants and trees. With that in mind, take your time and browse through the many articles I've written about my favorite hobby, and get started on your path to becoming a true Bonsai Master!

Spiritual Meaning to the Bonsai Tree
There are at least two aspects. The first is notion to consider is that the bonsai is a miniature tree grown in a container. This could be read as your inability to grow to your full size, or your deliberate desire to contain and restrict your true size and power.

On the other hand, the miniature is also precisely cultivated and refined, pruned to keep only that which is desired. In this case, you are refining and shaping yourself on a smaller scale, which, some would say, is the ultimate journey since the small is in the large, the part in the whole.

I am experimenting with bonsai cannabis plants in my current grow after seeing this thread...

***DrBud Takes CFL SOG to the Next Level***

I have one plant that is 5.5 weeks into flower and is just 14" tall. It has one phat main cola (pretty much the whole plant) and 3 secondary buds. I just put the cutting into flower the day I got it. I think you could grow them even smaller than 14" but the "cuttings" I got were a bit more mature than I usually get (probably had about 5-10 days veg before they got to me). I will be posting up some pics in the next week or so.
