I to have a distaste for " cops " too.

I've Never, Ever, called them, for anything, E V V A !

But i do know that, all the people i went to high school with, that became cops,
everyone of them got little or no, recognition or respect from there peers ! ?

Do you ( citizen ) know Who was in " charge " of the Air Force, the morning

To those who oppose the building of this mosque, I want you ask yourself this; would you be opposed to building a church there?

All religions have prompted such senseless child fits as the 9/11 attacks. That attack was pretty tame compared to some other religious fanatical nonsense.

If Obama (the face and spokesperson for this country) denies muslims their right to freedom of worship, no matter where, we prove the terrorists right.

The 911 Commission was and is a joke and cover up, and the community center isn't being built at ground zero, but a few blocks away. Get the facts straight. No a defense but just setting the facts straight. :thumbsup:

On 911 I was woken up by a phone call after the first tower was hit, saw the second, knew people who died, knew people who had just left meetings in the towers, knew steelworkers who became sick. I saw the sky filling with smoke from a hilltop on N4th Street, twisted up blunts and smoked them with complete strangers on the corner, had police roll by and decide not to fuck with us for obviously having multiple blunts lit with the backdrop of burning and crumbling towers in the background and the billows of smoke filling the air. I had to explain to a child, age 5 at the time, why someone would do something like that to us while he also watched the billows of smoke filling the air. Was a pretty fucked up day all in all, not to mention, we couldn't get in touch with anyone who we were worried about because the phone lines in NYC were fucked, thank Jah for Howard Stern who was the only radio that was able to transmit from inside nyc and let us know what was going on.....

After experiencing that day and days and weeks to follow.... I see no reason why a Islamic community center containing a mosque shouldn't be located a couple blocks away. Hell they have Churches in Afraka and the Caribbean (see: Slavery and Christianity's part in it). For a country that preaches Freedom and Liberty, to directly violate the 1st amendment and to pretend it is anything except prejudice and hate on their part, is ridiculous and transparent. All the racists and bigots wicked hearts that are standing against it, I hope they blow a blood vessel in their brain when the community center is built.
