    spider mites

I cant say about either of those products.

My advice is get pure NEEM oil (google it, there's lots out there, I use "Einstein oil") , mix 1-2 tsp per quart water, add a few drops of mild soap as a wetting agent ( I use doctor bronners, it's organic, Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps Retail Store: Tea Tree Liquid Soap )

Lightly spray on the foliage every couple day's until the leaves are shiny when dry, try and get the bottoms of the leaves too since this is where the mites hide. Avoid over concentration of the solution since it can block the pores that allow the plant to breathe, ( several light applications )

This forces the mites to eat Neem when they bite the leaves, it wont kill the mites on the first application, but destroys their ability to continue to the next stage of life, primarily it prevents them from maturing, mating, and laying eggs.

This can be done thru the 2nd week of flowering without effecting the flavor of the buds. Neem STINKS to high hell, so use on late flowering plants would effect the smell and flavor of them in a rather unfavorable way.:wtf:

Also, smear tanglefoot or lanolin around the base of the stems and lips of the pots to prevent migration, (mites get stuck and starve to death:toilet_claw: )

Due diligence is needed to squash, and prevent mites from coming back, Take measures now, and read up,.... because somewhere, there's more lurking waiting for a chance. :chainsaw:

Also,... Once they're gone,.... Keep everything as close to hospital sanitary as possible, and remember, mites are everywhere, so if you just finished mowing your lawn, your probably covered in them! Take a shower before entering your grow room.

Even if growing out doors,... same rules apply. For instance,... My out door plant is in a whiskey barrel potter, and has no neighbors to transfer mites, I've coated the topsoil with insect powder (it helps prevent migration of bugs across the topsoil) Then the stem is coated in lanolin just above the soil. Every week or so I'll apply Neem to the new growth to prevent mites that might make it by some proxy. Then on top of that I keep a bottle of "Dont Bug Me" on hand for flying pests such as thrips.

Hope that ramble helped,... Good luck and happy growing!
