Went to MEPS, pissed in a cup, it was checked for glutin and albumin by a strip immediately and then sent off to a lab...

What I would really like to know is how much different a lab test is then a standard take home test.

I smoked from the beginning of May to the end of June nothing but high grade and about all out of my gravity bong, about twice a day if not more.

It had been about 38 days clean when I bought a take home test (Quikscreen $15 with the dipstick) and passed with a decent line. I then took the same day a $40 multi- drug test (the ones with all the chemicals already in the cup and you peel off paper for results) and got a barely visible line for THC, still a pass I guess. 43 days after quitting I took another dipstick test on my third or fourth void of the day and passed (I don't drink a lot of water or anything, just drink normally) with a nice visible line and took the MEPS test a day later on my 44th day not having smoked. I know it seems stupid to be freaking because I clearly passed 3 home tests, but I don't know how much more thorough the labs are!!! I just know it detects at 50ng's and confirms at 15, but that means NOTHING to me!

Anyone know anything about the reliability of take home tests or how thorough lab tests are??? Thanks in advance!

Because the two tests function on the same principle, the assays used by the labs for the initial screening are no more accurate than the home tests.

Ok well the 3 tests i took were all 50 ng/ml screens and the MEPs test is 50 ng/ml, so I GUESS if I passed the 3 I will be good, as long as ANY line at all is a negative...
