indoor veg to outdoor bloom. 1st grow ?s
Hello everyone. I went and picked up a few plants yesterday. I transplanted them into 7 gal buckets with fox farm orgainc soil and peralite. I am hoping to veg them for a few more weeks then bloom outdoors. I was hoping to veg under 4 30w T8s for 18 / 6. How much larger can i expect them to get if i veg for longer? Should I just leave them out doors? They get excellent sun for at least 13 hours a day which I believe will induce blooming. I want them bigger before they bloom. Should i prune them at all? Am I on the right track to huge plants?!?
The bushy one is grape ape, the stalky one is purple cheese.
sorry i could not embed the pics, image shack has changed and I cant make it work!

Hey, plants look real healthy and bushy!
I'm pretty sure plants atleast double in size during flowering, but they could veg and get quite a bit bigger I'd imagine. Just don't miss to much of the flowering time outdoors or they might not finish when you go to put them back out depending on your location. In Maine plants are just starting to flower and we need all the flowertime we can get before frost.

indoor veg to outdoor bloom. 1st grow ?s
well I have these ladies in my hands for 18 days. I also managed to pick up 3 others a few days after my original two. A trainwreck, and two blue dreams. they have been growing great (if you ask me) outside of one of the blue dreams that curled from too many nutes after the 1st watering with nutes (1 week after I got her) So i had to basically cut her back and start over.
Another mistake I made was starting to water them directly out of my hose. On city water with a pH of 8, and most likely heavy in cholrine. I got an inline filter now, and ran a gallon on bomb compost tea in my last feeding with Fox Farm big bloom nutes @ 3 cap fulls / 1.5 gals water.
I believe I have a Mn (Manganese) deficiency. But other wise hard to tell why a few leaves dont look so good. Please post any comments or ideas!
I leave them out doors from 8am to 8pm where they get at least 6 hours of direct light, then they come in my light proof garage at night since temps get in the low 50s here.
The 1st plant is the blue dreams that almost died about two weeks ago, it seems to be making a good comeback.

hi, I have a similar setup in that I leave them outdoor during the day and bring them into the laundry room at night, where I have CFL lights for 24 hr light cycle. Do you have a light in the garage or are they in the dark?

I had them in my garage for veg under a 105 watt (500w equivalent) fluorescent for veg in my light proof garage. Then put them out side for 12 hours of good sun light for a week when it was getting into the low 50s at nite they go back in the garage. (high 50s in the garage)
In this heat wave they are now outside for 72 hours straight (about 10.5 hours of dark) and loving the hopefully good growing conditions 91 in the heat of the day, and low 60s at nite!

just wanted to post my last pics I took of my plants before I got carried away with other hobbies. I ended up with ~ a half pound dried and trimmed. The train wreck was the best performer. Grape ape has the best flavor. They all have a great high, and no one can believe it was outdoor!
1st is grape ape (and my crap camera hence no more close ups) a group shot. a few of the train wreck and the cheese is the real bushy looking one at the end.
outdoor rules! and I didn't spend a dime on electricity.
