First Time Cloning Help!!
Hi I have been trying to clone my master kush but with no results.
I am using rockwool, soaking them for 24 hours in 6.0 ph and using rooting gel. Cutting at 45 degree angle.
I put the clones in a dome at 75- 80 degree F. I mist them 3-4 times a day.
I am putting them under 24 watt flour.
My problem is that they will be fine for 3 days then all of a suddend they will get soft? especially where the stem part is bending is where it gets soft and drops down.

First Time Cloning Help!!
many people clip the fingers off the fan leaves to prevent moisture loss. I don't have experience cloning in rockwool, I use rapid rooter plugs.
My procedure is:
sterilize sharp blade
find appropriate growth shoot around mid-plant height
take cutting and immediately put in a dish of PHed water
I then take the cutting and make a 45 degree cut about an inch above the original cut
place the nexly cut shoot in a DIY DWC bubbler with a weak rooting and growth solution.
put in humidity dome that has some ventilation
mist dome and rooter plugs NOT the cuttings
hope that helps

Are they in a tray with a humidity dome?
If yes, you're spraying them too often. Keep your cubes moist, not wet.

do not mist the leaf or stem. the rockwool is too wet.... after soaking squeeze or shake out excess water ....applies to peat pellets also...

First Time Cloning Help!!
I just had the same problem, I had made 45 clones did everthing as everbody said even took the cover of thinking to much moister. What finaly help me Was KLN root concentrate that I had from a friend gave me he had layiing around. Called the number on bottle (DYNA-GROW) to ask about product, was informed how to use and clones are looking great. I use 1tsp of KLN per gallon with 1tsp of protek also another dynagrow, long story short I lost 22 clones before I started this process also ripe a branch from one of the plants and cloned those cutting with this process and those look great they didn't even go into to much shock. Good luck I hope this helps:thumbsup::stoned:
