No, you don't. However, I must say that it is a good idea if you have never tried marijuana so that your doctor can assess risk vs. gain while taking into account your medical history. The downfall is that many doctors will drop you as a patient if they know that you are using marijuana. I guess it could be a mixed blessing though since you could then find a pcp that is cool with MMJ. Hope this helps you!:rasta:
