where does weed come from?

hi..
this is a random question, but something we need to know or it will bug us forever..
we know that you can get homegrown, and it's from the cannabis plant etc.
but how does it get to us.. student stoners at Uni..
is there a huge weed dealer in the world?.. ie. the big daddy
do the growers sell it?
how many dealers would it go through before it gets to us..?
sorry this is weird and there might not even be an answer, but help us if you can!

well. People in foreign countries all over the world grow it in fields for different drug cartels (most of whom deal different drugs too). These cartels are huge businesses, and they export the drugs to other countries. where it passes through many many hands until it reaches your grubby paws and get skinned up.

ya like alot of dealers and independent growers all over this country .if you knew how much weed you drive by everyday and dont even know. it is everywhere but the reason no one answered is cause they dont want you to know. I bet you drive by atleast one or two big operations every day and dont even know

Chesterfield county s.c. was know for a long time for producing the most weed in the country .Easy to do in them thick sand hills. i know people who live there.growers have cameras on there crops.the law lets it go on pretty much. They just wait to catch people transporting. went huntin there one year and a friend warned me about cuttin any i found. i did anyway it was good and plentyful..thanx whoever

where was that fact, i believe you but i want to varify. it seems pretty high. i would say like 40% tops.

I seen 1 line of distribution, and met everyone that was involved.

Quite small. Grower -------->dealer------------>dealer------------->dealer--------Customers

Of course it branches out more like a web, but the chain of distribution isn't as big as portrayed by the government. It only provides for I would say 3-4 cliques LOL.

That's kind of a hard statistic to KNOW- at least well enough to put up an exact percentage, lol. Because the market operates below legal channels, no records are kept about how much comes in the country. I would suspect that (especially since homeland security) more of it is home grown, but you might be surprised how many ppl in tx, oklahoma, and even in cali are still smoking bricked imported schwagg.

Farther north, you might get more growers, but you also might get some coming in from canada.

NOt saying you're wrong; sounds reasonable, but there is just no way to know somehting like that.
