where does weed come from?

Weed comes from almost everywhere. With all the advances in hydroponic technology over the recent years anybody can grow it, it doesn't get transported/smuggled as much as it once did. The world no longer relies on places like Mexico and Columbia to supply cannabis. You get 17 year olds growing garages/attics/bedrooms full of it and making big £££/$$$. Believe it or not, a lot of weed is grown in Switzerland.

I live in rual arkansas and we still rely on peppy lopez loading a mule in Texas and driving it up hear (even though once a year if you know the right people and have enough money you can by good home grown) we have to go to little rock to get hydro and its high. Its seems as if we are so close to the mex that they keep the local market flooded with descent product this insulates us from the other good products out there because the price keeps other markets out

this is a random question, but something we need to know or it will bug us forever..
we know that you can get homegrown, and it's from the cannabis plant etc.
but how does it get to us.. student stoners at Uni..
is there a huge weed dealer in the world?.. ie. the big daddy
do the growers sell it?
how many dealers would it go through before it gets to us..?
sorry this is weird and there might not even be an answer, but help us if you can!

Growers sell to buyers who transfer to distributors. Its a money train.

Loads of dealers in the uk are growing themselves now, somes imported but mostly its just homegrown. and man the quality is top notch, these last couple of years theres been so much nice weed around, im sure anyone else from the uk will tell you the same. Dunno why its happened so suddenly though, it was all shit bar and the odd bit of okish bud before

100% true Hoodedclum mate, A few years ago in my area you could only get soap bar and for ridiculous prices, skunk was unheard of. But recently with all the hydro shops popping up everywhere and the internet getting more common, lots of people are now growing their own. And because most people haven't got a clue about quality they still charge/pay £120 an ounce whether it's shwag or top notch. Skunk is just skunk to most people, they don't know how to judge the quality, they can't tell the diff.
