This Gubernatorial election will be close. If the election were today it may be a few hundred votes one way or the other.
One candidate is a threat to the medical marijuana program and the other is definitey a supporter. Marijuana smokers generally do not vote. They are truly an untapped political resource. But in this election they can be the difference between success and failure for either candidate.
If marijuana smokers do not vote in the gubernatorial election, it could very well affect them directly. If they do it is certain that they will become a voice in American politics. If medical cannabis patients and their supporters register to vote and cast a vote they will make national news. If they do not it will damage the program and we will take a giant step backwards in the fight against prohibition.
So get registered to vote! You can even vote by mail on an "absentee ballot" and make your voice heard! In less time than it takes to roll a joint you can register to vote. An absentee ballot takes five minutes to fill out and mail back.
If you do it you will see the immediate benefit of your vote. If you do not you will see the immediate consequences. Marijuana smokers CAN be the difference in this race.

I've been doing absentee ballots for 7 years now. Great way to vote.
In my humble opinion it would be detrimental to us all if Ms. Martinez were voted into office. She will shut down the program quicker than you can spit. She has vowed to do so.
