Newbie needs help
This is my first grow I am 3 days into my 3rd week of growing, I am using DWC a double outlet air pump a six inch bouble stone in each, in a closet 3ftX5ft, two plants each in a 5gallon bucket with net pot built into the lid, a fan blowing. I am using Flora Nova, I am usign 3 gallons of water per bucket with 1tsp of nutes in each bucket, water out of the faucet ppm is 0.30 after I add the nutes it goes to 0.70, I am using 4 T5 bulbs 4ft long, I use the color scale with drops to test my ph, which is at 6.0, I started using Sure2Grow cubes, surounded in hydroton which was rinsed out befor being used. The strain is unknown.
My leaves are turning yellow I believe it might be a lack of calcium, which I am going to go buy some Cal-Mag. The pics are of both plants.
What does any one think, and if I am right how much do I use. I an not a veteran so if I am wrong please steer me in the right direction.ELEL95 Reviewed by ELEL95 on . El your starving them. I just looked up the feeding schedule from GH and Floranova at this time should be 7.5ml per gal, roughly 1 1/2 tsp per gal. You are getting yellow because they are crying for Nitrogen. http://www.genhydro.com/genhydro_US/...ainToWaste.pdf There is the link to feeding schedule :thumbsup:
Calmag is still a good idea even if you dont have a problem. The label of the GH version says 5ml per gal (1 tsp) but I am running it as a preventer at a little less than half that.

There= over there

I am usually pretty laid back but man you need to take it easy on what ever your on bro. I do not think this forum is for you to talk shit. I am usually only able to log on after midnight and trust me when I get home from the office and tend to the wife and kid, my grammer is the last thing I am worried about.
So chill out, thanks a lot Tinytoon, and dont waste your time posting unnecessary post.
Thanks for the props on doing well tiny and ocotillo for my first grow. I could not of done it with out the help of the good people on this forum.
