It's hard to say 100% without seeing some more pics of your plant/plants but I think you are being a bit optimistic with your harvest time. If you harvest at 7 weeks you are going to lose out on a lot of bud. Between 9 and 11 weeks (depending on strain) will generally improve the size and quality of your harvest.

    ostgood:

Hope you have a 30x microscope and are checking the trichs. Yield and potency will suffer if chopped too early.

So, call them post-flowers, or now-flowers, or funny li'l boogers.
They are a common item. Something you find around the house n garden.

BTF is right, (he usually is).
No pick 'em. They are a useful indicator.
When they swell up like seed pods, it's time to start checking the trichomes for color.

If it makes you feel mo' betta, I chopped da very first female I evah grew 'cause I thought they were "boy-bits"
    Then, I looked it up.

    Aloha,

Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of 9 to 11 weeks flowering, 8 is probably a maximum for me at this point. None of the trichs have turned amber yet, so I'm still waiting for that.

On a side note, how long before harvest is a good time to prune off the fan leaves?
