"Seed Like" Formations on my Flowering Female Plants
As I am fairly new to growing, I'll try and do this the right way:
I'm six weeks and three days into flowering from bag seed in soil with CFLs in a 4 by 4 by 3 growing cabinet.
Just recently I spotted a couple seed-like formations growing on the underside of the buds of my female plants. I picked a couple off and it appears as though there is only fleshy plant material inside and no actual seed. On most of these growths, there is either a single or a couple strands of hair protruding from the tip. I am considering harvesting soon, and I got a little worried when I saw these. I initially thought that maybe I had a hermie, but on further inspection I'm fairly sure that I don't.
I guess my actual question is: Are these growths common and will they effect my potency? Should I just chop now or leave everything be until my girls are fully mature?
Obviously pics would be included, but my camera is on the fritz so if I get it working I will post some.ironman27 Reviewed by ironman27 on . I'm over six weeks into flowering though and these are new growths, so if they are pre flowers then why are they growing in now?

Maybe I'm just being paranoid :wtf: and seeing problems that aren't actually there, but I'll have some pics up soon.

Is it growing where the leaf steam and the bud stem meet? It's just a calyx, nothing to worry about. Normal at this stage.

Yes it is growing in that area. So I don't have to be worried about it? Damn I must be smoking too much before I take care of my plants :stoned:
