Benefits to turning the lights off for 24-48 hours to initiate flowering?
I've tried to initiate flower just by switching to 12/12 light cycle and with the 72 hour darkness period. It showed signs of female about 7-8 days quicker with the darkness period. Its sped things up alot in my opinion so I do it all the time now.
