Idea: Naturally Increasing the Amount of Nutes

I know the a marijuana plant doesn't need a lot of nutes, and you're supposed to use 1/4-1/2 of the amount suggested by the nute company. I am currently on my first grow and just put them into flowering 4 days ago. Its hard for me to give them such little amounts of nutes, but I do anyway. I have idea that if you very slowly increase the amount of nutes given to the plants, that they could grow bigger. but I mean increase the amount very slowly. Maybe 1 ml every day. Therefor, they are slowly fed more and more, just if it was over a long time, it might not cause nute burn. What do you think of this?

That is exactly what the nutrient companies want you to think. Stick to 1/4 strength every other watering and you will be much better off.

    What is your growing medium?

Im growing in soil and using the Fox Farm line. All 3 fertilizers and I have all 3 of the enhancers for flowering (Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, and Cha Ching)

Perfect, I use the same line of products. I start off by using them at 1/4 strength, then eventually increase it to 1/2 strength after about a month or so. I have never burned a plant using this method. Fox Farm makes some very 'hot' products so dont ever go above 1/2 strength every other watering. Give them at least a 1 week flushing before you harvest and you will grow some fire.

I use fox farms and have had great results with them. When you start adding the solubles(beasite bloomz, cha ching) start very slow, and cut back on how much tiger bloom and big bloom you use. You dont wanna burn them.

I ahve one complaint about FF. There products are really acidic. If you dont add PH up to your nutrient solution your probably going to have issues eventually. Before I adjust the PH the nutrient solution is around 5.5(depending on how much i use), which is way to low for soil growing.

Adjust your PH, go easy at first, and your nugs will be chronic.

Yeah, as a first time grower, I've ran into some problems along the way. Fox Farms acidic nonsense was one of them. After all my nutes are added my PH is about 4.5. But thanks, it was just an idea I had.

This is acurate and good advice. I find that I use more PH Up than I do actual fox farm nutrients. Lol. They are sooo acidic.
