If that last bud is ice then yes it does get extremely sticky but that shot looks to be a bit of a cheater. It looks like they've done an extreme closeup of the top cola is all which should be that resinous anyway.
It'd be good to see them pull the camera back a bit so we can see how the rest of the colas doing before making any great judgement on the grow though in case the surrounding leaves are still bare. :twocents:
