Germination Question
I have searched this forum and I cant seem to find the answer to my question. I just started some Vanilla Kush seeds this weekend. I started them in paper towels, and then transplanted them into red cups after they developed a small root. So, my question is now that i have them in cups waiting on them to sprout, should they be under the lights or in the dark??
I plan on using 23 watt cfls in a cabinet grow. I just wasn't sure when to put them in the box?
thanks in advance

Germination Question
NO thet can be left under lights as the lights wont penetrate the soil above the seed and how deep did you plant them ?????????

Plant you seeds 1/4" deep (6-7mm).

Now its friday and i think you may have a problem but wait and see as old stock seeds can take a while to sprout but dont soak or use paper towels to avoid complications. Every seed (100+) i have planted usually sprout in 72hrs and the longest i have waited is around 5 days.

Germination Question
Yep, bad news...I took one and dug up the seed and it looked like it was rotten. Mushy and it looked just like it did when i planted it. Oh well, good thing that i didn't plant all of my seeds at once...So i will start again.
Thanks for the help....live and learn

Germination Question
I started over and followed your instructions a little closer and I have 1 sprout so far. I am hoping that the others sprout soon too. If not I will start a couple of clones to make up for the failed seeds!
Thanks for the help Luda!
