    wobble light

if it is free then use it..you want to look in to kelvin temps tho...them wobble lights would work good for the most important part of the plants life which his flowering however you want a different light for the veg part of the life cycle. you want so simulate the sun, thats why you see the lights up high and the shields are to reflect most of the light down. wobble lights sit one the ground with the light about 2.5ft(i think)off the ground which is not ideal as the plants will grow toward the light ...you are in construction so im shure this wouldent be a problem for you.

i thought about getting one of these but it was a fluorescent bulb which comes with less heat and a smaller power bill. ended up with a ton of CFL's which i will never use agean.(go big or go home)

    just my :twocents:

i was looking at that hanging one....looks like the one you want plus it would lok cool in a grow room...might want to look into how easy it is to get replacement lamps...if it is propeietary it may not be worth it. i dont think they are made to stay on for 12 or 24 hrs at a time so i would expext to go thru a few lamps. i do not know alot about HPS and MH as i have never used them myself so i cant tell you how many plants that will work for but i know if you look around on this crazy interwebnet thing you can find a way to calculate sq ft and determine lumens needed. that is the important part...also you will need to think about heat. i know it sais fan cooled but you will need more than that. good thing its OSHA compliant, wouldnt wana get busted by them:wtf:

I wonder how hot those things get... I think it's always nice to have the light and ballast separate, makes it easier to control temps.
