Just getting started...
Hi Everyone,
So I've been lurking here for a few days now...it's been quiet as I've noticed! Anyway, I want to get started on a medical grow to provide good meds to patients. I have outdoor experience but I plan to start indoor but I'll get to that, I think I can handle getting setup and started but I'm sure I'll have questions later.
Well my question for you all is what do I need to remain legal. My first assumption is I will need a Dr Rec. which I'm sure I qualify and I can certainly benefit here an there but as I said I'm mostly interested in providing good meds to collectives. I don't supposed there is anyway to get the appropriate documents to grow without actually going get a personal recommendation. Also, if I do end up needing my recommendation is there anything else I will need besides the REC?
Lastly, as for MD's that recommend. Is medicann a legitimate establishment? I want to avoid a legal circus as much as possible.
Lastly, I have been reading a few grows namely Tiny and Martyr....Great stuff fellas!!! Great Stuff!Wheeelman Reviewed by Wheeelman on . Just getting started... You can NOT avoid the "legal circus". You have to join in. If you don't - your local DA may FORCE you to be a part of the legal circus. We call them "Defendant" here.
Find out what lawyer in your community does all the Marijuana Defense work - every community has at least one. Make an appointment and spend a hundred bux and FIND OUT. Advice you get here should be taken with a grain (brick) of salt.
In my county, there are several things that need to be done to stay on the good side of the law. I did them all, and then some. Here, an Rx allows me to grow 6 plants. I have a lot more than that going - legally. Find out how.
Second ... I would find a cop. Yea, a cop. Find one sitting in a donut shop, hiding behind a sign waiting for speeders ... whatever. Approach with a big grin and in a friendly way, say this: "I get out a lot, I am a contractor (real estate agent, jogger, hunter, hiker, roofer, whatever) and sometimes I see small back yard gardens. You know, like 40 marijuana plants. Should I call you guys when I see that?"
I asked that question of TWO different cops (Deputy Sherriffs) at different times. BOTH of them said, "Yea, I see backyard grows too. You can call if you want, but we won't do anything about it." One added that "if you see a grow that is BIG, get the hell out of there - you may be in danger." But neither really cared. Now that is HERE. That may not be where YOU are.
Do your homework. Find out for yourself.

The clauses that MY lawyer said to commit to memory:
"There is no crime being committed here officer. You are on private property and I must ask you to leave. Everyone here is safe and there is no crime being committed here. Please leave. Thank you for your concern, and thank you for coming to check on my safety - but everyone here is safe and there is no crime being committed here. Please leave. No, I do not give permission to come inside. Please leave."
"Am I being detained? Am I free to go now?"
"You do NOT have my permission to search. I will cooperate with you and follow your instructions - but, you do NOT have my permission to search."
"Am I being detained? Am I free to go?"
Watch that YouTube spot ... bookmark it and watch it every month..
Just because I\'m paranoid, doesn\'t mean they\'re not out to get me.
