Several years ago a guy was up the road and he was hanging out at the local gas station.

He had a joint made from navel lint that he had rolled ealier that day.

A couple young guys walked by him and he said to them "hey do you want to smoke the best pot in Northern California?". The young guys laughed and handed the guy a couple joints saying, "if you want to smoke the best pot in Northern California, then smoke this".....

He continued this for the hole day speaking with every young person that came by, and by the end of the day he had 250 joints of really good pot.

The best part of this story was that they all were gotten for free!

Problem is ... Oakland is not in Northern California.

The line between North and South is somewhere near Sacramento. Anything south of Sacramento is called "Southern California". And Los Angeles is now known as Northern Mexico.
