    new nutes

nutes are going off the shelfs soon, if they haven't already. what can people do for nutes now? i know there's the normal ones, like miraclegrow and babybio and stuff but i don't trust them. has anyone ever used nettles? i was told you can pick loads of them, crush them and steep them in water for 4 weeks and you'll have a great plant food. i'd recommended that you put a little bit of raw copper (6 inches of stripped wire) in there too to keep out the mosquitoes, but thats just something i picked up somewhere. but does it work? i know in france they call it "purin d??orties" and they banned it from been sold or to publish info on it, but you are allowed to make your own if you want
    ??Mysteriously? Banned in France: Nettles

i think this is a mini cover up. coz if nettle plant food catches on it could hurt the plant food companies. after posting this up here i'll be keeping an eye out for french guys is plant food vans around my area. :yippee:

interesting stuff about the nettles though

where did you see that nutes would be banned?

because the only advanced gardening stores i know are strict about their policies - tomatos and veggies

they are banning hydroponic gear. i know they will say the the feed is hydroponic feed as it has it on the label so it will be banned. i remember that asha in the stevens green sc got into trouble over selling coconut papers (skins) that only had the word cannabis in the fine print, but it was enough for them to come after asha. all they have to do is relabel the nutes, but the orders are out to get rid of hydro shops as well as the headshops and i'm sure nutes will be a problem soon. i understand i come across paranoid but they are such assholes i need to be.

they are not banning hydroponic gear, they are banning the sale of hydroponic supplies in headshops or anywhere only selling it for the use in growing cannabis. it will still be legal to buy from other shops.

oo right, i misunderstood it, the way i hear it was that everything is getting banned. so something like "superbud" will be gone but hydroponic plant food will still be around as long as it hasn't anything to do with cannabis on the label. thats cool.

No they are'nt banning anything to do with growing, It's just headshops cant sell it for the purpose of growing cannabis. All of the nutes are used for other plants too "fruit, veg and flowers". They all have the same stuff in them Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium. It was all just a media photo op. They also said they were going to ban "drug pipes" as they like to call them, but they can't.

because they are sold as tobacco pipes, so if they banned them they would have to ban them all which would mean closing down petersons and foxx's and the hookah bars which they are'nt going to do.
